  1. It’s time for our monthly Employee in the Spotlight again! Last month we interviewed our veteran colleague Anwar from the development team. In keeping with this theme, this month we’d like to introduce a colleague that probably isn’t necessarily accustomed to being in the limelight, given his position as a back-end (and behind-the-scenes) developer at Mopinion. This month we’d like you to meet our colleague Haris Argyis.

  2. Welcome to the July edition of Mopinion’s Employee in the Spotlight! This blog series gives readers an inside look at who we are and how our employees contribute to our company culture. Last month we shined the light on our brand new Customer Success Manager Saskia Clappers. Fairly new to the team, she had a lot of interesting insights and things to share about her experience thus far at Mopinion. So this month, we’ve decided to hop on over to another department and highlight a special member from our Sales team, Kevin Drinkwaard. Here’s his story…

  3. Ready for this month’s Employee in the Spotlight? Last month we introduced you to one of our content marketers, Mi-choe Emanuelson. This month, however, we’re switching gears and want to focus on a rather new member of the team, our Customer Success Manager Saskia Clappers. Normally we would be sitting down face-to-face with a cup of coffee for this interview, but seeing as how that wasn’t possible due to the circumstances, we had to get creative and set up a virtual interview with Google Hangouts… Don’t worry though, there was still coffee involved!

  6. Unlike customer-facing teams, marketers don’t always hear directly from the people they’re speaking to. Instead, they rely on metrics and intuition to understand the end consumer. Good data and marketing chops go a long way, but they don’t tell you everything. If you’re not tapping into your audience for feedback, then you’re leaving insights (and revenue) on the table.

In this post, we’ll cover the benefits of collecting content feedback and share some tips on doing it well.

  7. Admit it. We as consumers are a demanding bunch. We have high expectations of the brands around us – whether that’s simply knowing our preferences, tailoring our online journeys, individualizing communications, or providing quick and hassle-free customer support. Put simply, we want to be the apple of every business’ eye. If things don’t go our way, well….it won’t be long before we’re off looking for an alternative that will meet our expectations. This logic is precisely why personalization efforts are so critical to the success of businesses – especially in the digital era.

  9. Businesses now have all of the tools necessary to find out how people feel about their branding efforts. Social listening is a marketing strategy that allows companies to read and respond to customer feedback on social media. This gives them the opportunity to fine-tune their marketing efforts to help them achieve their goals.

  10. Earlier this month I attended Social Media Marketing World, the largest conference on social media marketing in the world. Over the last few years, customer service has shifted from traditional phone support toward social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others. Dan Gingiss started the Social Customer Care Track and interest has grown exponentially. The room I spoke in this year was three times larger than last year’s room, and we packed the house.
